Karim Mawji is Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Eagle Talon Partners LLC, an investment manager that employs fundamental and systematic event-focused strategies. Prior to forming Eagle Talon, Mr. Mawji founded Paragon Intel, a fintech alternative data analytics company and Dentonia Park, a special situations hedge fund. Previously, he worked at Morgan Stanley, Deloitte & Touche, and various hedge funds as a principal investor, equity analyst, and M&A/Restructuring banker.
Mr. Mawji received a BA in History from the University of Western Ontario and earned an MBA degree from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Canada and is a CFA® charterholder. He and his wife Betty relocated to Naples, FL in 2021 after living in New York City for more than two decades. His daughter recently graduated from Amherst College and his son is a rising senior at Princeton University. Outside of work, you can find him spending time with his family, on a yoga mat, or on the pickleball courts – since he has yet to find squash and badminton courts in Naples! |
