Bill was born in California and raised in Glenview, Illinois. After getting his degree in psychology from Colgate and his MBA in finance from Kellogg, he spent the first half of his career with Procter & Gamble. He grew up in the financial side of the Paper business, moving from the US, to Europe and then Japan as Pampers was expanded around the world. He became the Chief Financial Officer for worldwide R&D, P&G Japan and then worldwide sales. After a stint with a regional retailer, Bill has been a managing partner with The Partnering Group, a consumer products sales and marketing consultancy, responsible for the Automotive Aftermarket (authoring 2 industry books) and the Finance and Japan practices.
He moved to southwest Florida in 1996 and is currently President and Director of Friends of Artis—Naples. He is the care partner for his wife who is in an accelerating decline from MSA, one of the Parkinsonisms. He joined the Association in fall, 2018, is on the Development committee and is the facilitator for a new Male Care Partner support group.
