Robert C. Byczek
Prior to retiring, Robert was the founder and a Managing Director of Legacy Capital Advisors, LLC. My business activities focused on providing high quality Merger and Acquisition Advisory Services to middle market companies in a wide variety of industries. Before founding Legacy Capital Advisors, LLC, he was the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Investment Banking at Duff & Phelps, LLC. where he started the Investment Banking Practice in 1990. In 1996 he co-led the sale of the majority control of Duff & Phelps, LLC to Webster Financial Corp.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, he was a Senior Vice President of Merrill Lynch's Middle Market Investment Banking Group. Earlier in his career, Robert was an auditor with Price Waterhouse and Co.
Robert received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Robert lives full time with his wife, Laura, of 42 years in Pelican Bay. He has 2 daughters living in Austin and Paris. In 2010, Robert was diagnosed with Parkinson Disease. Having taken a variety of medicine for 10 years he elected to have DBS surgery at the University of Miami on September 3, 10 and 20th of this year, with much success, and more to come.
Now on the rebound, he hopes to have more time to fulfill my long-term goal to play major league baseball but be very happy to travel with his great wife and participate in on the Board of Director for the Parkinson Association of Southwest Florida.
