Thank you for visiting our website. We’re here for you! The Parkinson’s Association of Southwest Florida is unique in several ways:
We serve only those touched by PD in Collier and Lee Counties – at least 7,000 people, or nearly 10% of the PD population in Florida.
We offer 30 programs weekly. These evidence-based activities – especially movement & exercise – may slow the progression of PD
Our movement & exercise classes are in-person and virtual, led by facilitators knowledgeable about PD and how it impacts the body
Our support groups are in-person and virtual. In addition to the Couples and General groups, we offer sessions for Men with PD, Women with PD, Female Care Partners, and Male Care Partners.
Please look at the calendar of activities, review the research articles, and contact us to learn more. Member registration is easy – it takes just a few minutes online (that blue box in the lower right corner of your screen). We look forward to being your go-to resource to Live Well with PD. Becoming a member is free and includes all of the PD support services we provide free of charge. The Parkinson's Association of Southwest Florida offers a variety of programs designed to keep the person with PD, their families and care partners active and involved. These programs vary by season, but always include balance and movement programs, support groups, educational programs, speech and swallowing classes, and social activities.
Although our programs are always free for members, for security and safety reasons, we do request that everyone attending an online or in person program complete a free membership application and participation waiver. For your convenience the membership application is available to complete online.
